My background

Hello. I’m Lyndsey – founder of Heads-up Coaching and this is my story.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for productivity and helping people improve the way they work and learn.

Following my degree in Psychology and Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), I spent twelve years as a Teacher.

As a Senior Management Team member, I empowered teams through coaching and training and as a Performance Manager, I guided staff and students towards achieving their targets and goals.

My Outreach consultancy work involved delivering training and sharing expertise in Special Educational Needs to families and teams across Brighton and Hove primary schools.

This ignited my passion for problem-solving and improving systems and processes.

After a career break to focus on motherhood, I retrained in coaching and it is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

I achieved an accredited Diploma in Performance Coaching, after which I proudly set up my business – Heads-up Coaching in 2018.

I helped my clients with various aspects of their businesses but I soon noticed that the most common and urgent problem that they had was lack of time and the ability to best manage it.

They felt like they had too much to do and not enough time to do it and it was affecting their performance and productivity.

In 2020, I decided to niche and specialise in time management and productivity.

How I help

I help busy entrepreneurs, professionals and teams find their focus and achieve their goals by improving their time management, productivity and wellbeing, through group training and 1:1 coaching.

I help my clients create clear goals, effective plans, efficient routines and powerful habits to transform their time and productivity.

I help them balance work and life, reduce stress and create more time and energy for the things that matter.

I live in Brighton and Hove with my husband, our two energetic daughters and a mischievous dog.

When I’m not working, I enjoy walking or cycling along the seafront and Sussex countryside, swimming, yoga, singing in my choir, reading and traveling.
