3 ways to market your business during the pandemic

Posted on 15 April, 2020 by Lyndsey Segal in Business Coaching, Networking, Team Coaching

The ways in which we operate and market our businesses have transformed dramatically over the last month. Our marketing (even if our businesses are not operational at the moment) should be done through the lens of what is happening in the world right now and focus on helping people, whether it be in big or small ways.

Here are 3 ways to help market our businesses and navigate through these challenging times.

1) Keep communicating

Our audiences need to know if we are still operational, what services we are offering, how we are adjusting and how we can help.

It is important to keep communication relevant and timely and avoid overwhelming our audience with our messaging.

2) Invest in relationships

Marketing should focus predominantly on maintaining and growing our existing relationships with our audience.

Offering positive communication, community and support to our audience will help strengthen these important relationships.

Think about how you can help and offer solutions to the challenges your audience are experiencing.

3) Create opportunities

As the world continues to present challenges, people are looking for solutions.

People are looking for resources and activities to stay productive and positive – both in their personal and professional lives.

Think about creating content that inspires, educates, entertains and informs.

This is a great opportunity to work ON our businesses, to invest in their present and their future.

The ways in which we market our businesses need to be done sensitively, empathetically and thoughtfully to what is happening in the world right now. A clear marketing strategy will help us adapt and invest in the ways we communicate our business messages, products and services.
